7.5.8 Acceptance Management

Home Page  <<  >>

Acceptance Management is the process by which the produced deliverables are reviewed and accepted by the Contracting Authority according to the Acceptance Plan.

The aim of the Acceptance Management is to ensure that project deliverables meet the acceptance criteria and thus closely fit the needs defined in the Business Case and Project Fiche and incorporated in the Tender Documents.

Since acceptance management is a basic aspect of contract administration, analysis of the provisions of Regulation 115/2004 (articles 22 and 23) as well as guidance concerning the application of best practices in Acceptance Management by the rest Contracting Authorities apart from those of the central government, will be provided in Chapter 6 “Contract Management”.
